About Me

I am a third year computer science major at the University of California at San Diego and I enjoy keeping up with electronic technology that affects the use of computers, television, and phones. I have extensively read about different types of hard drives and solid state drives when my laptop's hard drive had failed and was in need of replacing.

While not having much experience with Apple products, I have included a link on the reference page. It is a full how-to on replacing the default SSD that ships with the product. Click here.

Purpose

The purpose of this site is to give a basic understanding of the main forms for computer memory and the revolution of technological devices that have surfaced beause of such memory products. There are three main forms of computer memory and they are seen in about every city around the globe. They are seen in products that range from phones to computers and even corporate machines such as those used to manage the World Wide Web; they all use a form of computer memory.

Once a basic understanding of what the form factors are used for and what they have done for our society, I hope that there will be an understanding that there will be countless possibilities in technological advances because of the computer memory advancements.

I hope that there will be an increase in tech savvy people so that there will be a greater number of contributors for carving the future of electronics. Hopefully there will always be users giving feedbacks, investing in research and/or technology based companies such as Google or Amazon, learning how to build a computer, etc, because without any of these, we would not have been able to create the smartphone.
